Who Is Vaishno Jagran Party?
Vaishno Jagran Party, also known as Bablu Ji & Party, is a Delhi-based devotional music and event team. We organise Jagran, Mata Ki Chowki, Bhagwati Jagran, Sai Sandhya, Khatu Shyam Bhajan, Sunderkand Path and Bhajan Sandhya for families, housing societies, temples, offices and community groups. Our tagline, Jagran. Bhajan. Kirtan., sums up what we do: we help people gather in devotion through live music. Our office is at C/60 Old Govind Pura, Krishna Nagar, Delhi 110051, and from there our team travels to homes, halls, temples and lawns across Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Faridabad, as well as to other cities on request.
We have been doing this work since 1995. In that time, our team has performed more than 12,000 Mata Ka Jagran and Mata Ki Chowki programmes. We do not treat this number as a trophy; we treat it as a reminder that each programme belongs to a family or community that trusted us with something meaningful to them.
Our Story and Purpose
Devotional music has been a part of North Indian family life for generations. A child hears a bhajan at home, attends a Chowki in the neighbourhood, and later organises one for his or her own family. Our purpose is to support this tradition by providing singers, musicians and arrangements that make it easy for families to host a dignified devotional event. We began with Mata ki bhents, and over the years our programmes have grown to include Sai bhajans, Shyam bhajans, Sunderkand recitation and general Bhajan Sandhya, because the families who called us wanted a single trusted team for all their devotional events.
Our work is guided by a few simple beliefs. The programme should be about devotion, not display. The family should be able to sit with their guests and feel at peace, not worry about logistics. The pricing should be explained clearly before booking. And the team should behave respectfully with the family, the neighbours, and the venue staff.
Meet the Team
Our team is built around the voice and experience of Bablu Ji, who leads the programmes as the main singer. He is supported by:
- Orchestra professionals: instrument players who accompany the singers with harmonium, dholak, tabla, keyboard and percussion.
- Chorus artists: vocalists who support the lead singer and help the audience to join in.
- Jhankiya artists: performers in traditional costumes who present devotional tableaux.
- Sound and stage technicians: staff who set up and operate a professional sound system and lighting.
- Coordinators: people who speak with hosts, confirm timings and manage the programme on the day.
The size of the team is adapted to the event. For a small home programme, a few artists may be enough. For a society Navratri event or a temple celebration, a larger orchestra, more chorus artists, jhanki and a bigger stage can be arranged.

How We Work
1. We listen first
When you call, we ask about the occasion, the date, the venue, the number of guests and your family's traditions. This helps us recommend the right programme rather than selling a fixed package.
2. We explain clearly
We tell you what is included, what you need to arrange yourself (such as the pandit, prasad and food), and which factors affect the cost. If there is any additional charge, we tell you before you confirm.
3. We prepare carefully
Before the programme, we confirm the arrival time, set-up requirements and any special request, such as a particular bhajan or a family ritual.
4. We perform with respect
On the day, our team arrives early, sets up the darbar and sound, tests everything and then leads the programme according to the agreed sequence. We keep the volume within agreed limits and respect the venue's rules.
5. We stay in touch
After the programme, we remain available for questions and for future occasions. Many families call us again for the next celebration.
Where We Work
Most of our programmes are in Delhi NCR. We have dedicated pages with local details for Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Faridabad.
We also accept bookings from other cities and states in India, subject to travel arrangements, dates and the size of the programme. If you are outside NCR, call us and we will discuss what is possible.
What We Have Learned From Thousands of Programmes
Performing more than twelve thousand devotional programmes teaches a team many practical lessons. We have learned that the first fifteen minutes decide the mood of an evening: if the sound is clear and the opening bhajan is gentle, guests settle quickly. We have learned that the aarti time must be communicated to everyone, because guests who arrive late miss the most important moment. We have learned that elders need seating near the front and that children need space to sit on mats and clap. We have learned that rain, power cuts and traffic are the three most common surprises, and that the best answer to each is preparation: covered equipment, backup power and an early departure.
We have also learned that no two families are alike. One wants slow, classical bhents; another wants lively bhajans with dholak; a third wants a mix. One host prefers a minimal darbar with marigold; another wants a grand stage with lights. Our work is to understand each family and tailor the programme, not to repeat the same performance everywhere.
Our Approach to Devotional Music
Devotional music is not entertainment in the ordinary sense. It is a form of prayer expressed through voice and instrument, and it works best when the audience participates. Our singers aim to create a space in which people can sing along, close their eyes, clap, or sit quietly, whichever suits them. We choose bhajans that are meaningful and widely known, and we explain the context of some songs so that younger listeners understand them. We avoid turning the programme into a stage show; the darbar, not the singer, is the centre of attention. This approach has helped us build lasting relationships with families who return for each important occasion in their lives.
Working With Societies, Temples and Organisations
Besides family events, we regularly work with resident welfare associations, temple committees, schools, cultural groups and offices. Such organisations need a team that can handle larger audiences, formal schedules and detailed coordination. We provide a written outline of the programme where required, coordinate with the organising committee on timings, and appoint a coordinator to be available on the day. For annual events, we are happy to plan in advance, so that the committee can announce dates early and the programme can build on previous years' experience.
Our Equipment and Arrangements
A devotional programme is only as good as its sound and its setting. Our sound system is professional, with speakers and microphones that carry the voice clearly. We adjust the system to the size of the venue and avoid unnecessary loudness. Our darbar options range from simple floral set-ups to larger decorated stages with lights and drapes. All wiring is arranged to be safe, and decoration is placed away from open flames. If your venue has special rules, such as limits on stage size or restrictions on decoration material, tell us and we will plan accordingly.
Our Commitments to Hosts
- Clear information: we explain the programme and the cost in plain language.
- Punctuality: we plan travel with a margin and inform you if there is any delay.
- Respect for tradition: we follow the customs your family wants, within the limits of the venue.
- Respect for neighbours: we adjust volume and timing to permitted limits.
- Responsiveness: you can reach us on two phone numbers and by WhatsApp and email.
Voices From Our Community
We do not publish invented reviews. Instead, we invite you to see our photographs and videos in the gallery, to watch our programmes on YouTube, and to speak with the families and committees who have organised events with us. If you would like to know more about a specific type of event, call us, and we will share what we can from our experience.
Frequently Asked About Our Work
Many people ask whether we only perform Mata ki Chowki. We perform a full range of devotional programmes. Others ask whether we travel outside Delhi. We do, subject to arrangements. Some ask whether we can adapt to a family's regional style. We try to, and we encourage you to share your preferences. If you have questions that are not answered on this website, you are welcome to call.
Why Families Return to Us
Families usually return to us for the next occasion for simple reasons. They remember that we arrived on time, that the sound was clear, that the darbar looked dignified and that the singers made their guests feel welcome. They remember that the price was explained honestly. They remember that when something unexpected happened, such as a sudden power cut or rain, our team stayed calm and helped find a solution. We cannot promise a perfect event, because live events always involve variables, but we do promise honest preparation, respectful service and open communication. This is the foundation on which we have worked since 1995, and it is what we intend to continue for the years ahead.
If this page has answered your questions, the next step is simple: call us, tell us about your occasion, and let us suggest the programme that will make it meaningful for your family. If you still have questions, ask them; we would rather answer ten questions before the booking than leave a single doubt after it.
